Who Are the winbros

WinBros is a window cleaning, pressure washing, and gutter cleaning company that began in Morton, Illinois and was founded by Blake (me) and Max Shoemaker. As two brothers fresh out of high school, it started small and we didn't have any big plans for the business whatsoever. We just thought the skills we would learn from starting a business would be valuable, so with no hopes of making any money, we went ahead and started WinBros. Our mission was simple, every window was going to be completely spotless no matter how long it took. Because of this commitment and the great community in Morton and the rest of Central Illinois, we just kept getting enough jobs to fill the schedule for the next day. As the days went on we were slowly learning from our customers that the home service industry didn't have the best reputation. That's when our dreams started to get bigger, and we expanded into pressure washing, and gutter cleaning the following summer. We hired some of our buddies, and that's when we really took off and realized that we can do a lot more with WinBros than we ever thought was possible. With that, we kept our previous mission, but expanded it into something more than just providing top-notch quality and customer service.

Winbros culture

WinBros is trying to push the limits in the service industry. With hard work and dedicated employees, we are redefining the possibilities of a summer job. Our main goal this year is to develop a culture centered around hard work, consistency, positivity, and growing our employees into better men, not just window cleaners. We make sure our mission is in line with the Lord's at WinBros, and dedicate every Monday morning to fueling the team with Jesus' teachings. As college students ourselves, we know what it was like in high school being uncertain about the future, so pouring back into our employees, who are all high school and college students is a mission we are dedicated to.

What's Next

WinBros plans to be around for a long time. Max is graduating and will be taking a full time role at WinBros, with Blake doing the same the following year. Our vision of what WinBros can become keeps getting bigger and bigger, which will require more dedicated employees to accomplish our goals. That being said we actively encourage all of our employees to start their own business as that has been a life-changing experience for us. We teach all of our guys everything we have learned in our entrepreneurship journey without reservation. Sales, customer service, how to ensure quality are all skills that each and every WinBros employee will have after just one summer.

WinBros couldn't be what it is today without the wonderful people of Morton Illinois and the surrounding areas. The support we received was amazing and propelled us past what we thought was possible through window cleaning and our other services. We plan to keep expanding and work for as much of the Central Illinois area as possible, while leaving a positive impact wherever we go. We plan to give back to the community wherever we can, especially through instilling everyone who comes through WinBros with our culture of high performance, and unrivaled customer service so that when they start their own businesses; the standard in the home service industry will be changed for years to come. Another mission that's close to our heart is having fun. We're outside working hard every day, why not have fun in the process?
